Behind the Music
Solo artist and vocalist, Chris Kelley, female front for First Strike, a metal band in Santa Barbara, California. Influenced by early days of bands Anthrax, Testament, and Megadeth, First Strike's music dominated the California Central Coast in the late 1980's and early 1990's until band members moved on to other projects. Chris never lost her passion for the original songs spirited by her Dio and Dickenson inspired vocals. She created Renascence, a tribute to the first metal that was and still is progressive, and powerful.

CHRIS KELLEY
Vocalist
Chris' vocal origins were in church music when she discovered Ronnie Dio and Bruce Dickenson, sparking her love for hard rock. Chris has a powerful vocal talent and passion, joining other female metal greats.
SADO RABAUDI
Lead Guitar / Bass
Sado has a long history of Santa Barbara-based music projects including his most recent "Until the Storm" and previously "Stomprocket." Sado's talent is unsurpassed as a lead guitarist and vocalist, a musical anomaly.
ETHAN HARB
Drummer
"Legacy"
Drummer, Ethan Harb added beats to the Legacy EP. His multi-faceted talent boasts hard rock and country music, including his latest project in Nashville, TN.
ELLIOTT LANAM
Recording & Mastering
Elliott is an award winning producer and musician, as well as owner of Hidden City Studios in Santa Barbara, CA. His accolades include Grammy nominations for his work with pop artist Katy Perry. Elliott produced his own 2021 album "Delirium Honey" and added his versatile musicianship to the Incarnate EP on the "Uprising" (Muse) cover.
BILL BROWNE
Drummer
"Incarnate"
Billy's contribution to the Incarnate EP brings the original spirit of Santa Barbara's thrash era. He continues to drive energetic percussion in California rock band favorites "Sinsation," the "DTease" and "Plumeria."
HANK RAYNER
Bass Guitar "Incarnate"
Hank's history with 80's Santa Barbara thrash bands as Sacrament and the original First Strike music made him a natural fit for the Incarnate EP.
